“Lucky Birch Fish”

You’ve just purchased a handmade coaster filled with natural pigments.

Thank you!!!

“Lucky Birch Fish”, appears to depict the lattice-like structure of a tropical freshwater fish scale, but it is actually a skeletonized leaf—the leaf’s natural “skeleton,” composed entirely of its woody veins (vascular tissue). It is a leaf from the birch tree (*Betula pendula*), a species typical of Alpine and Trentino landscapes and abundant on Mount Bondone. While some birch leaves are more triangular, the mature leaves found lower on the tree tend to have a full, oval shape with pronounced secondary veins that remain intact upon drying. This coaster is intended to bring great good fortune to its owner; the artist—who drew a connection between the leaf and the scale of a Dragonfish—explains that the image of the scale itself represents a luxury item and a lucky charm.

The artist suggests using the coaster with your favorite beverages, allowing them to “absorb” the positive energy radiating from the artwork.

For complete relaxation, we recommend slowly sipping your drink while relaxing to the track below. An exclusive gift from the artist just for you.

Thank you for purchasing this coaster.

Every contribution you make is an incentive for me to keep going.
