The Pelvis Coaster

You’ve just purchased a handmade coaster filled with natural pigments.

Thank you!!!

A one-of-a-kind work, entirely handmade by Italian artist Copper Natura, that pays homage to the timeless Elvis Presley.

ELVIS PRESLEY — THE HEART OF ROCK

Elvis Presley was not simply a singer: he was one of the figures who contributed to forever transforming the music and culture of the twentieth century. With his voice, his way of moving on stage and a personality capable of breaking the mold, Elvis became the symbol of a new musical energy: Rock ‘n’ Roll.

His style was born from the meeting of different musical worlds: blues, rhythm & blues, country and gospel. Precisely this fusion of influences contributed to creating a new language, which would influence generations of artists after him.

The first step in this extraordinary story came in 1954, when Elvis recorded “That’s All Right” for Sun Records, a song that is often considered one of the fundamental moments in the birth of modern rock.

THE PELVIS COASTER

Copper Natura pays homage to the “King of Rock ‘n’ Roll” through a deliberately simple yet meaningful work.

At the center of the work, a heart accompanies and outlines the image of Elvis, as a symbol of the energy, passion and emotion that his music continues to transmit.

A small everyday object thus becomes a fragment of music history: a meeting between art, matter and memory, created by hand to remember an artist who left an indelible mark on world culture.

CURIOSITIES ABOUT ELVIS

A heart, an image, a legend.
A small coaster for a great Rock story.

ELVIS THE PELVIS

Elvis was nicknamed “Elvis the Pelvis” for his distinctive hip movements during his performances. His movements, accompanied by a style of dancing that was considered extremely provocative at the time, helped establish his image as a rebellious and nonconformist artist.

In the 1950s, those movements caused a stir: some television programs even went so far as to focus on him from the waist up, avoiding showing his famous hip movements.

The nickname “Elvis the Pelvis” initially arose as an ironic and critical definition, but it eventually became part of Elvis’ legend. That movement became one of the symbols of the Rock ‘n’ Roll revolution.

And this is precisely what makes the heart on the Copper Natura coaster even more significant: a small symbol that evokes not only the love of music, but also the passion, energy, and freedom of expression that Elvis represented.

MEDITATION PELVIS COASTER

by COPPER NATURA

Take a few minutes just for yourself.
Sit comfortably, dim the lights and let the environment become calm (if you light a candle, the environment will be even better).

So grab your favorite drink but don’t place it on the Pelvis Coaster coaster yet: just keep it by your side, as you begin this little journey.

Start the music created by Copper Natura that you find below exclusively for you (song inspired by Elvis Presley) by combining an instrument that didn’t yet exist at the time: the handpan) and close your eyes.

Breathe slowly and deeply with your belly. Inhale through your nose, let your abdomen gently expand… then exhale slowly through your mouth, letting go of tension and thoughts.

With each breath, imagine gathering energy.
Let the rhythm of my handpan accompany your breathing and allow the music to carry you away, without you having to do anything.

For the duration of the song, listen, breathe, and let go.

When the music ends, slowly open your eyes.

Now you can finally place your glass on the Pelvis Coaster.

Leave it there for a few minutes, then pick it up and sip slowly.

Let every little sip become a moment of awareness and pleasure.

And then… let go!

Stand up, move your body, improvise some Elvis-style moves, or simply dance as you feel most comfortable.

The energy you accumulate during meditation isn’t energy to hold back.

It’s energy to be lived.
