“Peace Coaster”
You have just purchased a handmade coaster filled with natural pigments.
Thank you!!!
This artwork is a tribute to John Lennon, an artist and a universal symbol of peace, equality, and freedom.
Lennon’s face comes to life inside the coaster, accompanied by elements that evoke his message and sensitivity: the peace symbol and the words “Imagine,” the title of what has become one of the most iconic songs of peace and brotherhood in the world.
“Imagine” was released in 1971 and, over time, has become much more than just a song: an invitation to imagine a world without divisions, wars, and barriers, where people can live in harmony.
Every detail of this creation is inserted and crafted by hand, using elements inspired by nature, transformed and preserved within the artwork. Precisely for this reason, each piece is unique and unrepeatable: it is not a simple reproduction, but a handcrafted work of art that unites music, nature, and meaning.
A small object for everyday use that conveys a powerful message: imagining peace, believing in equality, and never stopping dreaming of a better world.
Fun Facts About John Lennon
“Imagine” wasn’t conceived simply as a song. Lennon described it as a piece capable of expressing ideas that also belonged to a vision he shared with Yoko Ono. For this reason, over time, it has become a truly universal anthem to peace.
The peace symbol is no accident. Lennon often used it in his public and artistic work, transforming his music into a tool for raising awareness against war.
“Imagine” transcended the confines of music. It has been used on numerous occasions dedicated to peace and solidarity and remains one of the most recognizable songs in the world today.
Before the Beatles, Lennon already had a band. In 1957, he founded the Quarrymen, the group that would later become the Beatles. It was around this time that he met Paul McCartney.
Lennon was also an artist and writer. In addition to music, he devoted himself to poetry, drawing, and writing, showcasing a creative side often lesser-known to the general public.
Lennon’s message lives on.
His idea of music wasn’t just entertainment: through his works, he sought to speak of peace, love, freedom, and equality. It is precisely this message that this work seeks to preserve and convey.
